Campaign Suite 5.3.2

Published on Nov 27, 2014

Major new features

  • A new feature counts keywords, text ads and other contents in each of the generated templates and compares them to Google’s limits. The result is displayed in the template preview.Count keywords and text ads
  • It is now possible to create multiple fields for broad keywords. This can be done equally as for exact/phrase keywords.Multiple broad
  • The table page has been rebuilt. Loading of data and scrolling inside tables is now blazingly fast. The scrollbar can be used to drag to the bottom of the table immediately.
  • Table column widths can now be resized manually. This works equally to Google spreadsheets or Excel columns.
  • Sort columns alphabetically from A-Z by clicking onto the column title. Click again to sort from Z-A. And click a third time to turn sorting off.
  • Commas can now be used in the content of list fields. They no longer trigger a new list element. This has the advantage that the comma can be used for content. In order to jump to the next row and create a new list item press “Shift + Enter”.
  • The input area of list fields is now resizeable.                                                             List area
  • At the bottom of the table, new rows can be added. Last row
  • The Campaign Suite has a new status logic in tables. Whenever a table row is set to “deleted” a warning explains that this will set all campaigns and ad groups resulting from this entry to “deleted”. Learn more about the details. Delete items
  • Text Ads can now be created for mobile targets only. Select the checkbox beneath the display url field in text ad templates.Mobile optimized text ads
  • For each case in which a full download file is exported the “recent downloads” list now also makes the changes file available. This helps if users mistakenly click on the wrong export button.
  • Template variables are now saved only when you click “save changes”. Before, new variables got saved after entering a new name.

Major bug fixes

  • Saving dynamic rules in reactivated tables works properly now.
  • A bug was fixed, which caused the value “undefined” to be written in some table cells.
  • In certain cases the relations window didn’t open in new templates, which had a number of related tables assigned.
  • Feed tables no longer get stuck on a white “in progress” page.
  • The filters of recommendations have been improved.

Hotfixes since last update

  • The selection of export sets was changed. Now, when only exporting keywords and/or text ads, campaigns and ad groups also have to be exported. This logic ensures that new campaigns and their contents are also part of the exports.
  • A bug was fixed, which caused tables to break sometimes. The consequence was an unexpected error when opening the table.
  • Several improvements were made in order to prevent the Campaign Suite from reloading suddenly and leading the user back to “Campaign Management” tab.
  • When double-clicking onto the url field in the import feed wizard, a sample url appeared. This no longer happens.
