Campaign Suite 5.0.7

Published on Feb 4, 2014

Major new features
  • A new feature allows to connect to Google AdWords without the initial setup wizard.  This is accessible under “Settings” in the user drop down menu.
  • All AdWords accounts belonging to a connected Google MCC were synchronized formerly. A new blacklist allows to exclude selected accounts, which speeds up synchronization times and lets you use separate Campaign Suite accounts for separate AdWords accounts. This is also accessible under “Settings” in the user drop down menu.
  • Templates now offer to assign seven instead of only five tables.
  • Major improvements to the auto-completion ensure relevant variables are offered. Furthermore, it is triggered after entering two instead of three characters.
  • Many new error, warning and success messages were included to the application and lots of unknown errors replaced by more informative ones.
  • A new function BROAD() allows to use broad keywords, even if the general setting under “Campaign Structure” from the user drop down menu is set to broad modifier. This is the opposite to the function ADGROUPADVANCED() Furthermore, the preview next to the keyword field contains a “+” to indicate broad modifier keywords.
  • Match type negatives were updated globally to be of negative phrase match type, no longer of negative exact match type.
  • The validation of display URLs was updated to forbid slashed and capital letters in the sub-domain.
Major bug fixes
  • A bug allowed to change the field types of the table columns “google_account” and “dynamic inventory” in the table settings. This is no longer possible as it corrupts the synchronization with Google and Advanced Status Management features.
  • Lots of duplicate success messages were removed.
  • Importing an exported CSV table from a different Campaign Suite account didn’t work under certain circumstances. This issue is fixed.
  • A bug had broken the feature to filter templates based on tables under “Data and Structure”. This was repaired.
  • An issue that prevented the button “Variables” in the template details page from working in certain situations was fixed.
  • When manually selecting a certain incorrect feed encoding type, the feed import wizard was in progress forever. This bug was resolved.
  • The setting “Max CPC” is now available in all templates; it was mistakenly only available in standalone templates before.
  • A bug was fixed that caused match type negatives only to be created from the first exact or phrase keyword in a template, even if more were available.
